Have you ever heard what a vaporizer is?
I didn't know until today and there are simply so many things one can keep discovering.
In the culinary world, vaporizer is used to extract flavors and aromas from ingredients through controlled heat that might be spoiled due to overheating during cooking. Many molecular gastronomy or progressive cuisine is dependent of such tool to bring their ingredients to the next unbelievable level.
This tool is also widely used in the mixology culture when it comes to innovative cocktails. Can you believe that vaporizer is also used in aromatherapy to release those calming aromas into your preferred space without using any synthetic ingredients? You may already have it in your house without even knowing its name. :)
How significant this innovation can be, imagine you are able to extract the essential oil or flavor components from almost any ingredients without combustion that may have potential harmful byproducts. No wonder many celebrity chefs are not hesitating in using it to isolate a particular flavor that they are looking for - it may range from grass, leather or even fire ashes.
There are many types of vaporizers apparently:
- Pen style
One of the most interesting one will be vaporizer pipe that really looks like those pipes for smoking.Guess what ... it is really used for smoking pipe! Instead of burning them, you simply vaporize them which apparently will reduce tar and particulate inhalation.
